    Very poor.
    I hired the hall for my son's 3rd Birthday party. What a shambles. Not only did I receive a very rude message from the treasurer of the hall a week before the party date accusing me of not paying my booking fee (which I had several weeks before), to no one showing up at the given time to open the premises in order to set up the party to being accused of paying the hall £10 short of booking fee. I was confronted by a very rude lady 20 minutes before the party was about to start (she was 10 mins late) of owing them £10 and to pay it immediately in cash before the party starts. I told the lady politely that I have already paid the fee of the hall and that she had mistaken me for someone else...She then very rudely confronts me and says (in front of my family and friends) that the treasurer would not lie and be mistaken and that I definitely owed the outstanding fee..! She stood there and waited for a payment. I told her that I did not have any cash on me and that she would have to check her bank details again and that i had paid the full amount. She then follows my partner to his van and demands £10 and he explains that we have already paid the full amount. She left very rudely and told me she will back to receive palyment once the party was over and to provide proof that i have paid. Turns out....I didn't owe them a penny..they mixed me up with someone else. My poor parents were so upset and stressed the whole time during the party thanks to the rude lady who was very confrontational and threatening. I will never ever book there again. An apology would be acceptable but haven't heard one at all.

    The treasurer in particular needs to learn some people skills, communication skills and learn how to check emails promptly, as well as use internet banking to ensure that payment has has been made. May I also add...a confirmation of payment would be lovely too...quick enough to email me accusing me of not paying when I did beforehand..they had my contact details in January so ring/email/text with a query.
    Several people during my son's birthday shared similar stories regarding the hall and the lack of communication from the staff that run it. So it's not a first. I will never use this hall again..terrible.
